Anti-Racism Education Committee

If you’re interested in learning better to do better, then you’ve come to the right place. It can be harmful to expect your friends, family members, or strangers that are Black, Indigenous, or a person of color to educate us when we’ve failed to collectively listen before. They’ve been suffering from all forms of racism for decades, and it is our responsibility to do right by them. The Anti-Racism Education Committee (AREC) is a group of educated people working to write articles, create videos, share infographics, and find ways to provide anti-racist education to anyone who wants to do their part.

AREC covers topics including implicit bias, white privilege, systemic racism, and more. It’s time to be the change we need. The change we deserve. Sign up to receive knowledge delivered directly to your inbox.

Talk About It

M.O.R.E’s Anti-Racism Education Committee private Facebook group is the place to share anti-racism educational content and anti-racist training opportunities, discuss the committee’s activities, to participate in its work, and to plan and organize campaigns and our own training events. Conversations from this group will provide a basis for the committee’s decisions on current initiatives and future directions.
