This week features three (3) panelists talking about what happens after we leave the courtroom. What is Restorative Justice and how do we implement it? What forms of post-trial relief have been effective?

Zeke Rediker is a candidate for the Court of Common Pleas who has worked with his firm’s Criminal Justice Reform Program, including as lead counsel on a case that was successful in obtaining the release of an unjustly sentenced person.

Richard Garland, MSW is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences and works with various groups and initiatives designed to reduce crime and violence.

Hilary Wheatley Taylor is a candidate for Magisterial District Court in Mt. Lebanon and Dormont, and a vocal advocate for restorative justice, having gotten her first experience in the courtroom as a legal intern for a Common Pleas Judge handling complicated criminal cases.
